Individual owners can be invited quickly and securely via the Getmomo platform. The invitation is sent by e-mail. The owner goes through a completely digital process when opening an account. The account can be accessed directly after the KYC has been successfully completed. For natural persons, the opening time for an account is between 3 and 24 hours and for legal entities and WEGs between 24 and 48 hours.
Getmomo accounts can be opened for all types of owners, i.e. natural persons, legal entities and WEGs. Depending on the type of owner, various forms of proof must be submitted when opening an account. In the case of a natural person, a currently valid identity card or passport, for example, is sufficient for identification. For legal entities and WEGs, the respective power of representation is checked. The entire opening process is completely digital. The account is opened within 3 to 48 hours.
As part of the account opening process by the owner, the relevant powers of attorney can be issued directly to the property management company. Any number of powers of attorney can be set up by the account holder per owner account. The property management is automatically informed about the setting up of the power of attorney. The corresponding account appears directly in the overview of the respective property management. The process of issuing a power of attorney is also completely digital.
Getmomo is not a bank and works with banking-as-a-service partner Swan SA (Swan). Swan is a regulated e-money institution based in France with a branch in Germany. The account and payment services are provided by Swan to the account holder. All accounts brokered by Getmomo are protected by a deposit guarantee of €100,000 per account relationship.
An unlimited number of virtual sub-accounts can be opened per main account via virtual ibans. The virtual sub-accounts are opened via the Getmomo platform. The crediting of possible incoming funds always takes place on the respective underlying main account. The Iban of the main account as well as the virtual Ibans are always German Ibans for customers in Germany. There are no extra monthly or one-off fees per virtual sub-account for the account holder or the property management.
